Thursday we held our Team Combine. We had some good performances, but one guy just jumps out. I'm not even sure this kid believes that he's a good athlete, even though we've told him so. I do know the numbers don't lie, God has blessed him with ability. Quentin Woods has grown to 6'2" 175 lbs and has been working hard in the weight room. The results of that work were a top vertical jump performance, a tie for the fastest 40 yard dash, and second in the standing long jump, a solid bench and short shuttle, which put him second overall, after our scoring system, behind Grant Syster. It is time Quentin Woods embraces the facts, and the fact is he is he can be as good as he wants to be. For his combine performance, Quentin is this weeks Player of the Week. We will be looking for big things from Quentin this season.
