We continue to train hard in the weight room, I am very proud of our effort the first two months of the year, many have worked to physically change themselves into better football players. Football is an intense game, you can't fake it on the field, you either have prepared yourself or you haven't, and the film won't lie. Grant Syster has shown an unwaivering work ethic in his determination to become a leader on this team. Nothing keeps him out of the weight room, and when he is there, he is always training. And when he's training he's training with intensity. He's pushing himself each and every rep to get stronger, faster and bigger. When I look around the room, Grant is lifting something, never standing around, just working. That is the effort he will have to continue to give to fullfill his unlimited potential as a player. For his leadership and work ethic, Grant is the first repeat winner of the Player of the Week for 2013. Also, a big thanks to the Syster parents who find a way to get 3 young men to and from the weight room. An example of what it takes for a program to be successful. Parents and athletes who believe, sacrifice and strive for success, no excuses. Thats being All IN.
